Refund policy
You must email us requesting a refund before posting back your items. All items are inspected for faults before sending them out to you, however, if you do notice a fault email us at customerservice@bombora-house.com.au to discuss. Please note: Unless item is faulty, you will be liable for any return shipping costs for all change of mind refunds/exchanges, we will also not be able to refund any shipping costs you paid when placing the order, and you we will deduct a 5% restocking fee that helps us cover our costs.
Returns
We accept change of mind refunds within 5 days of receiving your purchase, however we do charge a restocking fee of 5% of the product value to cover our costs.
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- Items are unused, unwashed and in original packaging
- Items are not custom made (such as Duck Feather Inserts) - this is specified on the product page
Refunds (if applicable)
Please email us the order number, the item you wish to refund and the reason. We may require photographic evidence to save on shipping costs.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Exchanges (if applicable)
Please email us the order number, the item you wish to exchange and the reason. We will issue you a credit to your account once the item is received back into our store which you can use to purchase a different item within 120 days.
Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the item is faulty or not as described. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
